Before they left for Canada, I had a chance to meet up with Bryony and her family at the Noritake ceramics factory. The old brick factory buildings and green lawns made a nice backdrop for photography. At first I took photos of Byony doing yoga while John and the kids were playing in the park. Bryony has done yoga for many years and it was a pleasure to watch her get into the zone and do her thing. She has an amazing physique, and could be a model for art classes.
After the yoga session, we met up with John and the kids for some family photos. They are a warm, fun, and friendly family and spending time with them was a pleasure. They naturally started playing in the creek, rolling on the grass, so I was able to just follow them around and catch candid shots, which is my favorite way to photograph people. We will all miss them here in Japan, but we wish them well in their new life in Canada.
